There is a 10% multi-class discount for families and a $20 discount for students enrolled in Rock Band Performer Package. All tuition is payable by automatic payment from a credit card or bank account only. Students will have the same lesson appointment time each week. If a student must change the day and time of their lesson a request must be submitted 7 days in advance of the current lesson day. Withdrawal Policy: Most students are expected to be with us for three years and beyond to fully receive the benefits of music education. If you cannot continue lessons at our school we will certainly be sad to see you go L. There is no long term contract. However, to withdrawal and suspend automatic tuition charges, one full month prior notification in writing from the first of the month is required. If the first of the month falls on a school holiday then notice is due the last day before the school closure. Withdrawal forms are available in our office, and withdrawal by telephone, fax, or email is not accepted. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure Bach II Rock is in receipt of their withdrawal paperwork on the 1st of the month. If one full month notice is not provided, the fees and outstanding tuition (including tuition fees for the entire month) are still due and payable. Missed Lessons and Tardy Policy: Our school provides private lessons by appointment only and it is important for students to attend all of their music lessons. If you cannot make your lesson day and time then we are not responsible to provide a make-up lesson. However, we will allow each student one excused make-up lesson every three months. Students must give a full 24-hour advance notice to qualify for an excused make-up lesson. There are no make-up lessons for holiday closures. No exceptions. If a student arrives late the lesson will not be extended and will end at the scheduled time Faculty, Student Communication and School Dress Code: The school will assign a teacher deemed best suited to the student's needs. You will have the same teacher each week. Faculty are professional musicians and teachers, however they are not trained to teach students with special needs or learning disabilities. In the event a teacher is ill, a substitute will be provided. If a substitute is unavailable then a make-up lesson will be provided. The School reserves the right to substitute or change the student's teacher assignment at any time. Bach II Rock Academy of Music sends updates and reminders by email, so it is essential that we have your correct email address. No clothing with inappropriate pictures, slogans, or other clothing which is deemed disruptive by the teachers or administrators, is not allowed. Non-Sufficient Funds Fee: Tuition is deducted automatically on the 1st of every month. If your account declines and payment is not received by the end of the day, your account will be charged a $15.00 NSF/late fee. Release: Bach II Rock Academy of Music is hereby released to use students photograph, audio and/or video in promotional materials for their company such as in flyers, brochures, or on their website. There is no compensation for this release and students agree to give their consent willingly. Waiting Room, Drop-Off, and Pick-Up: The waiting room is NOT SUPERVISED and is used as a courtesy for students and parents to have a comfortable place to wait. Those who are waiting are not to disturb ongoing lessons and must keep noise to a minimum. Please pick up and drop off students no more than 5 minutes after or prior to the lesson. Food and drinks are allowed, but must be put away or thrown in the trash before the lesson starts. School Instruments and Equipment: Musical Instruments and Equipment are expensive. Students are expected to treat Bach II Rock’s instruments and equipment with appropriate respect. Young students will be taught by Faculty how to use all instruments and equipment safely. Students/families are responsible to fix or replace any instruments and equipment that are broken or damaged due to misuse or abuse by students. Student Instruments, Books and Practice: It is essential that students maintain and keep their instruments in good working order. Students must still attend their lesson if they do not have their instrument available. Students are required to bring their music and books with them to each lesson. It is difficult for teachers to move forward with a student's lesson plan if they forget their materials. Learning a skill requires at-home practice. Students are expected to follow their teachers practice suggestions. Younger students should have a positive practice incentive program in place. It is normal to have ups and downs in practice motivation throughout the year. Practicing just 15-20 minutes four or five times a week will gradually increase skill and confidence. With more practice, comfort and ability will increase rapidly. Regular 15-20 minute practice sessions will make music study much more fun and rewarding. | Register Here! | Bach II Rock Online! | Class Schedule! | Free Trial Lesson | |
